Nykaa SKINgenius Sculpting and Hydrating Foundation Review

Nykaa SKINgenius Sculpting & Hydrating Foundation Review

Hi everyone! Weather in Mumbai is being really silly, it's pouring cats & dogs in here and I write this review as i sit in comfy PJs and a hot mug of tea. Ah, little pleasure!

It's winter time and what's better than hydrating, lightweight foundations? The Nykaa SKINgenius is just that. Before we get on to the detailed review, let's have a look at the description on the company website.

  • Offers beautiful dewy finish

PACKAGING-
It comes in a pink cardboard box with the typical marble print of Nykaa. TBH I find it really boring but it's okay as long as the actual product works. The foundation itself comes in a squeezy bottle with a screw out cap, it's really travel friendly.

QUANTITY-
30 ml for RS. 575. The pricing is a little steep.

ACTUAL PRODUCT-
It is a liquid foundation and blends out really easily on the skin.It gives a very natural skin-like finish to the face which I absolutely love.It is slightly dewy looking and hence, naturally, a little tacky to the touch. It has hyaluronic acid in it which has a lot of benefits so that's a plus. Also, it is paraben-free and noone can be happier than me since I'm extremely paraben conscious. The coverage is medium and buildable to high-medium, not more than that.It did last the whole day on my skin. Oily skinned people will need to blot though.
Transfer test- It does transfer a little after you let it set into the skin without powders. Not much really.
FINAL VERDICT- Definitely worth a try if you're paraben conscious because there are not a lot of foundations in the drugstore sporting no parabens. And obviously dry skinned beauties will love the finish of this one.
